Artrhoped was my thesis work at HDK. The mail concept for the project was to think new, avoiding to get stuck in old ideas. The result was a bicycle based on intuitive human movement, with steering, drive and suspension on both wheels and a pneumatic hybrid brake energy saving system – seen several years later in Citroën cars.
Shown here is part of a compilation made for an exhibition at the Parliament House, Stockholm 2005.
The project was modeled in Pro|ENGINEER, using mechanisms to enable all movement in steering and suspension.
